Child Custody Mediation and Parenting Plan Modifications Mediation: Children change as time goes on, and as a result their needs change. Your needs as parents may change, too. Child support and parenting plans can be modified when circumstances change. Using mediation, you can modify your parenting plan, custody arrangement, or child support so that your new plan works for both the children and the parents.

Child Support Modification Mediation: Child support is modifiable in the event that circumstances change. The change may be to your income, the other parent’s income, your child’s needs, or a combination of all three. Mediation can help you communicate about co-parenting issues and child support. Mediation can help you find a solution that takes all of your needs, and your child’s needs, into account.

Spousal Support Modification Mediation: Because most divorces that include spousal support keep the amount modifiable, if circumstances change you may need help to reach a new spousal support order or spousal support agreement after your divorce is finished. A change in your or your former spouse’s income, health, or ability to work can mean that it’s time to update your spousal support.

Post-Divorce Property Settlement Mediation: Although property settlements are final as part of your final divorce paperwork, sometimes issues come up. Perhaps you still jointly own a home and it’s time to sell, but you cannot agree on a purchase price with your former spouse. Maybe your Judgment wasn’t as clear as you’d hoped on your property rights. We can help you resolve these issues.

Document Preparation

On occasion clients come to us with a very simple, straightforward divorce. In these cases, they really do not need much mediation assistance. However, they do need a professional to help make sure their documents are prepared and filed properly.

If you think you fall into this category, or would like know if you are eligible, please feel free to reach out to one of our mediators. We can help walk you through the details and determine if your case is in fact, simple.

After discussing your case, if you are a good fit for our document preparation package, we will send you a packet to complete that will provide us all of the details we need to prepare your court paperwork.

We can begin your initial documents to open your case while you work on the packet, or we can do everything at the same time. We will explore all of your options when you come in for your free consultation.

Uncontested Divorce

Short; an uncontested divorce can take less than three weeks

An uncontested divorce is recommended only if you and your spouse ARE IN AGREEMENT on all issues such as:

1. Division of Marital Property and Debt

2. Child Related issues including custody, parenting plans, visitation, and child support

3. Alimony

There are three simple steps to an Uncontested Divorce:

Step 1: Complete Our Uncontested Divorce Initial Drafting & Fee Agreement Form.

It will take you less than 10 minutes to complete the intake form and the information you provide will not be shared with anyone outside of our office. This is our way of beginning to get to know you and learn about your situation so that we may pinpoint the relevant issues that will need to be resolved during your divorce.

Step 2: The Consult.

During your initial meeting, we'll build upon the information you shared as well as discuss how we will help you get through your divorce as peacefully, productively and cost-effectively as possible.

  • For your convenience, the one-hour initial meeting takes place in an online format.

  • You do not need to be in the same location as your spouse, you just need to be someplace private and quiet where you have access to a phone and a computer or tablet with an internet connection.

  • Meetings are held during traditional business hours Monday through Friday. Evening & Weekend appointments are also available upon request.

  • They are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and will only be secured once payment is received.

  • You can often reserve an appointment same week or within a week's notice.

Rezolo Divorce Fees: $200.00
The charge to file the petition in any State jurisdiction for example is $408 plus $10 for each defendant served. These fees are payable directly to the court and are apart from Rezolo fees.

Step 3: We Draw Up The Uncontested Divorce Paperwork.

Couples can be divorced in approximately 30 days assuming all parties sign the documents drafted for them and return them to our office promptly. The courts will not look at a Divorce file until at least (20) twenty days have past since it is filed with the clerk of courts.

There are no hearings for you to attend.  All the paperwork needed will be drafted and sent to you for signing. Our office takes care of the rest until the divorce is finalized.

Parenting Plans

Keeps focus on the children’s best interests

  • Helps you make lasting, sound decisions about parenting, physical custody, and legal custody

  • Tailors your custody agreement to your and your children’s needs

  • Improves co-parenting and co-parent communication

  • Keeps you out of court, saving money, time and emotional toll

Your children are the most important part of your life. We work with both parents to create a customized parenting plan that meets your child's best interest. We can also assist you in calculating guideline child support based on your timeshare, income and expenses

When you are getting a divorce, there is a lot of uncertainty on what the future will look like. We strongly believe that children should have a close relationship and time with both parents as much as possible. We work hard to create parenting plans that support the relationship between the child and parent while maintaining a schedule that works for everyone.

Custody and Visitation

While we try to avoid the terms "custody" and "visitation," a parenting plan does the same thing. We help our clients establish physical and legal custody of their child along with coming up with a weekly and holiday schedule that is in alignment with the child's best interest. The great thing about doing all of this via mediation is that you make all the decisions, not the court. You and the other parent decide how best to schedule everything!

Child Support

Child support is calculated by a very specific method. We use our specialized software to input all your financial information, as well as your timeshare in your parenting plan to calculate the state's guideline support. No guesswork, no stress, we will do it all for you.
